02-10-09 Tuesday Week 2

Proof I'm actually doing the focused lifts, I swear.

Feeling pretty tired today after yesterday's killer day. I think it was all both Tommy and I could do just to get through the lifts and the metcon today. Rest day tomorrow will be welcome.

I was really hungry when I did "Elizabeth" ... felt good on the deads but core was spent by the time I got to those damn squat-cleans. First set of ring dips I got 10 in a row, after that it was more like 1 or 2 at a time. Items of food eaten today were quality - just not the timing. I was pretty busy and went about 9+ hours without eating at all and it probably affected my performance.

A-mazing, Shana. To what do you attribute the 10 minute improvement? Diet? I can't imagine if you were actually rested and not so hungry when you did it. I'm inspired.

Thanks, PatC! Uh -- well my previous PR for Elizabeth was back in April of '08 so I imagine that much time consistently doing CF made the gains almost inevitable, but I'm sure all those front squats lately haven't hurt, either!

hey, i was talking was the one who snuck up next to you and rob wolf in texas this weekend. he was helping me get paleo, just started in december. wish i lived next door to him to milk him for info. my diet is the biggest challange right now. I am hoping to be at the games to cheer you on!
